The Senior Management Team of the school is represented by the Headteacher and two administrative deputies: Curriculum and Pastoral.

The role of Headteacher on St Helena is identified as an island key post and has been held by Mr Derek Henry since January 2004.  In addition to heading the school he is also the secondary sector's education officer. He previously held the post of Deputy Head Curriculum.  When his duties allow him, Mr Henry, teaches in the Science Department, particularly in his specialist area of Agricultural Science.

Miss Vyona Young holds the post of Deputy Head (Curriculum).  Miss Young has held the post since September 2005.  Her role is multifarious including the school timetabling and the unenviable task of organising cover teachers.  Previously Miss Young was Head of English in the school, a subject about which she is still passionate.  She still teaches English, though her current post has also allowed her to sample the delights of teaching Maths!

Deputy Head (Pastoral) is Mrs Penny Bowers.  Mrs Bowers heads the school's pastoral team and occasionally finds time to don a lab coat and teach Science.  Mrs Bowers has held her current post since January 2005.  Mrs Bowers has taught in the UK and brings a wealth of experience to one of the most demanding posts in the school.
